Bathroom Renovation Sarasota is a licensed, insured bathroom remodeling company that has worked exclusively in Sarasota County since 2018. We're not a national franchise with a Sarasota branch bolted on, every job we've completed, every permit we've pulled, and every inspection we've passed has been in this market, on these homes, under this county's rules.
Our Story
A Bathroom Remodeling Company That Actually Knows Sarasota Homes.
We started Bathroom Renovation Sarasota in 2018 because we grew up doing this work in Sarasota County, and we got tired of seeing homeowners hire a crew that didn't know the difference between a 1965 CBS home off Siesta Drive and a 2004 townhome out in Lakewood Ranch. On paper, both jobs look the same, same tile order, same fixtures. In the wall, they're nothing alike. One's got concrete block, old terrazzo hiding under the vinyl, and plaster instead of drywall. The other has newer plumbing but a stricter HOA to get through before you can even start demo. Guess wrong on either one and you're redoing work, or worse, failing an inspection.
So that's how we run every job, Sarasota first, not "Southwest Florida" in general. We core-drill into CBS block instead of using a drywall anchor that'll pull loose in six months. We check for a waterproofing membrane behind the shower tile before we tear anything out, because most Sarasota homes built before 2004 never had one installed correctly in the first place. And since close to 38% of the people who live here are 65 or older, building a bathroom that's safe to use ten years from now isn't a specialty service we upsell, it's just how we build.
That's carried us to more than 180 completed bathrooms across Sarasota, Bradenton, Venice, and Lakewood Ranch, every one of them under our own license, every permit pulled, and every homeowner working with one project manager they can actually get on the phone.

CBS Construction & Terrazzo
Most Sarasota homes built between 1955 and 1990 are concrete block and stucco with original terrazzo floors under later flooring layers. We core-drill for blocking, grind and epoxy-patch terrazzo before new tile goes down, and never rely on a standard drywall anchor to hold a grab bar in a CBS wall.
Gulf Coast Humidity
At 70–90% relative humidity for much of the year, the wrong tile or grout fails fast. We spec porcelain with under 0.5% water absorption, anti-microbial grout, and ventilation sized for Sarasota's climate, not a fan pulled from a northern-climate parts bin.
Aging-in-Place Design
Curbless showers, ANSI A117.1-rated grab bars blocked into CBS walls, comfort-height toilets, and non-slip porcelain rated for wet Florida floors, designed for the county with the highest concentration of residents 65 and older in the state.
Permits & HOA Coordination
We pull every required Sarasota County or City of Sarasota permit ourselves and coordinate HOA architectural review separately, since one approval never waives the other under Florida law. You sign nothing at the county office.

Yes, regularly. HOA architectural approval and a county or city building permit are two separate legal processes under Florida Statutes §720.3035 (HOAs) and §718.113 (condominiums), neither one waives the other. We manage both, so your project doesn't stall on either approval.

Every bathroom remodel comes with a 5-year craftsmanship warranty covering our labor and installation. Fixtures and materials carry their own manufacturer warranties, which we help you register after the final walkthrough.
